Prints and Photographic Process

About the Prints and Photographic Process:
David's canvas gallery-wrap prints offer a stunning and simple method of presentation, allowing the focus to be on the image without any glare from glass. The gallery-wrap means that there is extra image that wraps around the sides of the wooden stretcher frame and creates an added dimension to the photograph. David prints his images with Epson printers using archival inks and canvas. The inks and canvas are UV protected and have an archival rating of 75 to 150 years against fading. The canvas prints are just as rich and detailed as a traditional photograph. There is no matting and framing needed for gallery-wrap images, which means they arrive ready to hang.

Stretcher Frames Sizes:
Aside from the width x height dimensions, the stretcher bars come in four different thickness's (depth); 1/2, 5/8, 1 and 2 inches. The majority of the standard size images use the ½ inch frame, except for Panoramic Photos and the Small Works Collection. Image sizes from 14x16 inches to 16x20 inches use the 5/8 inch frame. Most of the larger image sizes use the 1 inch frames, except for a few images that use the 2 inch frames (see Custom Orders & Enhancements).
